My Shaba

My dear, beloved, Shaba, thank you for taking care of me these past 15 1/2 years. You had such a sweet spirit. You were forever at my side, there to comfort, protect and guide. You showed me more love and patience than I'd ever experienced. You were selfless. You got me. You understood. You knew. My heart aches, still. I miss you so. I don't know if I'll ever get over you. I learned so much and only hope I can learn to give, as you did. You even touched my mother's heart, and she didn't even like dogs. Let me go to visit her without you and see how upset she got.

I thank God that you entered my life. I pray that there is a doggie heaven because I long to hold you again. I know it was tough towards the end. Thank you for holding on, for me. Love you Shaba!

I am so sorry for your loss! I feel like sending you a hug via the computer screen! I believe that since all animals are gods creatures that there is a place that they go and Shaba is there. I cannot imagine the pain... always remember there are many dogs that need the love you gave to Shaba, and I am sure she would want you to share it!
