Need Help Identifying Blue Merle Pattern

by Tim
(Orange County, CA)

I’m debating wether I want to put a deposit down today to be able to secure the pick of the litter that I want. I’m hoping to have the black/white and brown typical blue merle. Although I don’t see much brown.

Does that color typically develop later or am I pretty much seeing what my potential pup will look like here?

Any expert advice is appreciated!

Merle colouring

What you see in that pup is basic blue merle, but the colouring develops as they get older. Whatever else happens I think you would be getting a handsome dog there. But, also consider the personality as it develops will suit you as well.

Awesome colors

I have had five Aussies and all have some brown and showed from small pup. That said, the pup in the picture is going to be an awesome-looking dog, brown or no brown.
