Our Sweet Girls Sheila and Hazel - Best Of Friends!

by Suzie Gioia
(Johns Creek, GA)

My purebred Aussie Sheila is 5 years old. When she was 3 we decided she needed to have a friend to play with since she was so active. We saw Hazel at a pet store dog rescue adoption event. When we found out she was a 2 year old Aussie mix we knew it might be a match. We brought Sheila to meet Hazel and they were fast friends. Hazel hadn't been taken care of very well as her hair was very wirey and she had probably just had puppies and was very thin. We knew Hazel needed to be part of our family so we could give her the love she needed. They are now the best of friends and even cry when one leaves the other like for a vet visit or a walk without the other. We love our Aussie Girls!
