Possible Eye Defect in Australian Shepherd Puppy?

We are looking at purchasing this 5 week old Australian Shepherd. She is a blue merle. Dad was black tri, mum was red merle.

We met her and after swooning over the photos I noticed her eye to be a bit off. They appeared to not focus in the same direction and one pupil is much larger and appears to be a very irregular shape.

I’d like to educate myself on what it could be. Any advice on the possible eye condition would be appreciated.

Coloboma
by: Dillon

The eye on the right appears to have a coloboma. My blue merle puppy has the same thing. It isn’t inherently dangerous but it will probably cause more light sensitivity. Not sure about how the eye is turned outwards though. At first glance I thought maybe some sort of conjunctivitis?
