Problems With Getting a 3-Year-Old Male Australian Shepherd From a Breeder?

by JW
(CA)

We may be getting a 3-year-old male Australian Shepherd from a breeder. He has lived with other dogs his whole life. He will be the only dog in our household but we will be with him mostly all the time.

Any problems you see coming up with this?

Thank you.

On the bright side, after he adjusts you may find that your new dog enjoys being the only one. Less tiring than being one of several, and getting all the attention, all the snacks etc. He may be happy to go out and meet dog friends but also happy to devote all his attention to you at home.
Enjoy him.
