Reason For Aggression In A Year Old Aussie

Does an Aussie that bites the children in a family do so because of the genetics of the parents?

Neither of the parents have bitten anyone but we have been told that the puppy is aggressive because of the genetics of the parents. The professional stating this has never seen either of the parents and does not know their personalities.

Aggression in a 1 year old
by: Anne

Hi,
Did you get to see the parents? Did you get to feel and touch the parents?
Aussies are bred for herding and your aussie may just be nipping the children to herd them around.
You have to clarify as to is it really agression or just instinct.
Its hard to say with out actually seeing what is happening.
