Sassy, We Will Always Love You

by Debra
(Antlers, Ok)

Sassy had to go over the Rainbow Bridge on August 4th, 2023. She was 13 years old. She went just about everywhere with me. It now feels so empty here. She has such a loving soul that I know lives on. I'm looking for her to show us a sign that she's ok. It was the hardest thing in my life to do but it was out of so much love for her.

It is always so hard to lose a pup, I know they try to stay with us for as long as they can, but it seems in my experience that sometimes you have to tell them it's ok to go, that you will be ok.

Never doubt that you did the right thing. It's the hardest decision to make, but to gently let them go when it's time is the best way to repay them for all of the love they've given us over the years.

Don't worry about not "hearing back" for a little while, you will.
