Started Using Boundary Collar And Now Dealing With Behavior Problems

by Shannon
(KY)

I have a 10 month old female that started running off and getting into the highway. I bought a wireless boundary system to keep her in the yard. Two weeks in and she has started using the potty inside (I had her housebroke at 8 weeks old) and she's chewing everything in sight. It's like we are going backwards!

What do I do? I can't let her run free, but I can't handle the bad behavior either.

Boundary collar

I would say that now she is afraid to go outside because she doesn’t know when or where she will be shocked. She is feeling afraid and frustrated. Have you walked her along the boundary line many times and shown her where to stop and not cross? I would say you are harming her psychologically.
