Sweet Lucy

by Lisa Anderson
(Sherwood, Arkansas)

I adopted Lucy in March 2014. Her previous owner had raised her since birth, but he is married and has toddlers now and he said they were making her nervous and driving her crazy. He was sad to give her up, but wanted the best for her.

She is 6 years old and the 3rd Aussie I have owned over the years. She is very well behaved... a great house dog. She is very much a Velcro Aussie... she mostly stays on my heels, but sleeps beside my husband's side of the bed and if she needs to go out in the middle of the night for some reason, she always wakes him up!

She grins all the time and has the cutest wigglebutt! She loves to go walking, riding in the car and swimming, but she does not like thunder or other loud noises. She is a great watchdog and certainly lets us know if someone is around. She likes to herd my 4 house cats which they do not appreciate at all! I truly can't imagine our family without her.

Aussies are the best!

I miss my Aussie, BLUE, he was such a wonderful boy. We had him 11 years before we had to put him down because he had a back problem that made him paralyzed in the end.
I want another won every soon, as they are so loyal and loving and will try to please their owners. Blue smiled all the time.
Miss him so.

Sweet You...

She's so pretty and it looks like she enjoys the snow time :) Good girl that she gets her "daddy" up to potty her and let's her "mommy" sleep LOL
