Three Legs As Good As Four

by Steve
(Nappanee, IN)

This is my new Aussie rescue dog. Sydney was found in MS in the woods with a gun shot wound. A friend of mine visiting family found him on a walk in the woods. An emergency vet had to remove his front leg to save his life.

He is recovering well now living in IN. He and my Chocolate Lab Maggie are great friends and seem to play all day long. He is a lover and seems to require constant attention. Have him on an in-ground fence and he has gone through it twice (squirrels) and had to chase him down with the car. I thought having three legs would slow him down a little. Silly me. Hoping training will help. Picture taken early morning so is a little dark.
