Trio July 7th 2000-May 7th 2012

by Christa Dey-Girard
(Maple Ridge, B.C. Canada)

Trio was my running buddy, a member of our family, a great friend and companion. We had nearly 12 wonderful years with our beloved Fluffy Face. I am very grateful for the time I got to spend with you, you are the best puppy in the world, and you had such an awesome personality. It has been very hard to be without you every day since you've passed and I miss you so very much.

so sorry
by: Anonymous

I am so sorry for your loss. We too lost our boy after only 5 years to Epilepsy. we also lost our girl last Dec. to cancer, she was 15. still not matter how old, or how long or short a time you've had them, they are a part of you, and a part of your heart goes with them. Please take time to heal, and if you can, I would encourage you to rescue another pup in the near future, not to replace yours, but to give hope and a home to another, as well as help you heal and love again. I did that, and it really has helped. I love my little guy now so much. take care, my friend.

we did just that
by: Christa

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments. We actually did go to the SPCA and picked up an Aussie cross. He was 9 weeks old when we picked him up,, He's awesome, fits in perfectly. He is a different colour and has a different personality, so we don't feel as though we are trying to replace our Trio. You're right, it did help us heal. Thanks again for your kind words of support, and enjoy your puppy too.

praying for your loss
by: ADwaynenonymous

God bless you for getting another puppy. Thats the best thing you could have done. I didnt want mine but my girlfriend insisted i get one.I shuned her away for about 2 months grieving over my BO i lost and she was so good.It was like a 9 week old pup knew what was going on. after she had given me what she thought was enough time it was like one day she came to me and said "ok its my time now" She has been the very thing i needed to help heal . I hope yours will take that void spot and help you. as we all know they cant be replaced but their spirit can fill the next one and live on. My prayers and thoughts go to you my friend.
