Very Oily Coat

by Ron & Kathie Isenberg
(Deer Park, WA)

We rescued a 5 year old Aussie bitch. Her coat on her back and neck is so oily - it is clumping. Is there something systemically we should be looking at? She is otherwise healthy and happy. Any comments and suggestions are welcome.

You should bring her to the Vet to get it looked at so they may run some tests, as some aussies have allergies. Food/nutrition could be playing a huge part in the coat condition.
