What Are Some Good Mentally Stimulating Toys For My 18 Month Aussie?

What are some good mentally stimulating toys for my 18 month Aussie? We already have the Kong, and several Frisbee's, balls, and empty water bottle stuffed toys; what I'm looking for are some toys that are durable yet mentally challenging for our Aussie. She's bright and energetic and we need some new ideas to keep her entertained. We live in an climate that can get extremely hot (100+ deg's during the day) and taking her on all our errands just isn't practical or safe.

Food dispensing toys such as the Buster Cube are wonderful. They keep my girls busy on hot or super cold days here in Illinois. We also play "101 things to do with a box" . You can run a search to find out more about that game. Trick training is also good. You can find many good ideas on www.shirleychong.com We have tried some of the other games with flaps and doors, but they learn them really fast and we have to watch the girls at all times with those. You can also do hiding games or make up your own agility course with household items. Have fun!
