Maybe cryptic (phantom)?
by: jcrply

At first glance your pup appears to be a black tri (black, white, and copper). It's hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like there might be a patch of merle. If you see any merle at all, then your dog should be treated as a merle for breeding purposes, and should never be bred to a merle. If two merle dogs are bred together, each puppy in the litter has a 25% chance of being born a double merle. A double merle inherits the merle gene from both parents. A double merle dog (sometimes called "lethal white") usually has serious health problems- deaf and blind.

A cryptic merle, also called phantom merle has such tiny patches of merle that it appears to be non-merle.

Thank you, yes she has gray patches in her coloring and I’m so confused as everyone says black tri but with the gray in her patches I can’t see to call her black tri.

Blue merle

Your pup is 110% a gorgeous blue merle—love the dark blue! The amount of merling varies; your pup is just at the darker/more colored end of the spectrum.
