If that photo is true to life, your pup may have what is called a "dilute" color. You could GOOGLE something like "dilute Aussie colors" to see some photos to compare.

My dog looks a little similar. She is a dilute black tri. But, what is special is that she has the red parts in the diluted as well so her main colour is a dark grey-brown and the red is more like shades of sand and there is the white of course.

I have seen a puppy like yours and looked it up. It was called a steel dust auzzie. I was thinking when I saw it that it looked like a blue merle without the dark spots. I wasn't sure it was possible, but it makes sense. You hteelve a. black tri and a red tri
