Will Their Relationship Hurt In The Future?

Here's seprate pictures of them (they like laying together)

I have an Australian Shepherd pup and an older Golden. They get along fine but, I'm worried about what will happen in the future. (They are both girls.) My mother had a Somoyan and my dad had an older Golden and they did not get along well so we got rid of the Samoyan. Will the same thing happen between them?
