Zebra To The Rescue!

by LT
(Fiddletown, CA)

Zebra is currently six months old, but in the picture she's only about 4. I had waited over 2 years to be in a living situation that would allow me to adopt a puppy of my own, and Zebra was definitely worth the wait. She came into my life when almost everything else seemed bleak and desperate - no job, living off of unemployment, and on the brink of having to move back in with my mom after so many years of independence. Despite all our hardships I knew that getting this puppy was important enough to hold onto, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. Although the recession has caused my boyfriend and I to have to move back in with my mom, Zebra shines a light on our lives that nothing else could. I love you, Zeebs!
